On Sunday 30th July 2023, Barracks Creek Reserve will be the site of a National Tree Day event planned by QPRC and Queanbeyan Landcare. Several hundred native trees, shrubs and other plants will be planted along the eastern edge of Barracks Creek, in the area north of Barracks Creek Drive, across from the Barracks Flat Neighbourhood Park.
