LOCAL LAND SERVICES LANDCARE RIPARIAN RESTORATION PROJECT

  • Googong, NSW, 2620 Australia (map)

Planting activity along Jerrabomberra Creek in Fernleigh Park.

The planting is possible through a grant from the Local Land Services Landcare Riparian Restoration Project.

The Fernleigh locals (and Queanbeyan Landcare Members) who are organising this event are Bill Hall, Bruce Davies and Bruce Taloni. Many others have assisted in the planning and preparation of what should be a great day.

If you are interested in joining us the details are as follows:

1. Gather at the Community Centre at the corner of Fernleigh Drive and Swan Drive at 9 am for a 9.30am start.
2. Bring gloves and planting equipment if possible (some extra tools will be available).

3. Approximately 750 trees will be planted.

4. There will be a barbeque at the Community Centre after the planting.
We would welcome your involvement in this activity but ask that for catering purposes you let us know if you, your family or friends will be attending.
